Elgin Parks and Recreation Foundation - 2024 Pass the Ball, Share the Joy!

As we approach the end of the year, we are reminded of how much our parks, recreational programs, and community events bring us together and enrich the lives of children in our community. From the joy of a child reeling in their first fish at Hawthorn Hills Nature Center, to the excitement of a child sliding into home base, to the laughter and friendships built at one of our drop-in summer playgrounds—these moments are the fabric of Elgin.

But not everyone has equal access to these experiences. The EPRF is committed to ensuring that every child, no matter their circumstances, can participate in the activities that help them grow, play, and thrive. With a donation today, YOU will provide at-risk children with opportunities to join recreational programs, learn new skills, and build lifelong friendships and memories.

NO child should miss out on the chance to be part of a soccer team, swim at one of our great aquatic facilities, or learn through adventure because they may not have the financial means.

To offer these life-changing opportunities, we need your help. This year, we have set a goal to raise $10,000 by December 31. Together we can provide more scholarships, maintain and improve our parks and facilities, and offer community events that make a difference in the lives of our neighbors.
