Help us build an outdoor classroom in a natural setting

Learning about Nature, Naturally.

The Hawthorne Hill Nature Center was completed and opened to the public in June of 2005. It covers 67 acres and offers outdoor recreation and education for children and adults. Walking trails take visitors around man-made ponds, near wetlands, and through an old oak forest. Since the Nature Center opened, there has been a plan to create an outdoor nature play area. We believe that with the generosity of our citizens and businesses, we can make this nature play area a reality in spring of 2020.
